How to properly remove the hard and soft labels

2022-09-22

For the correct removal of AM soft labels, the general soft labels decoding tool is a decoder (degausser), and the operation requirements are as follows:
1. First determine the position of the induction labels on the product. If it is a concealed tag, the reference mark shall be determined. Then swipe the side with the label or reference mark as close to the surface of the decoding board as possible to ensure that the label can pass through the effective decoding area. (The decoding area of most non-contact decoders is within 10cm from the surface of the decoder)

2. The decoding of the soft label must pass through the decoding board horizontally, and all six sides (for large hexahedral commodities) are required to pass the decoding board horizontally. The purpose is to avoid a "dead corner" between the decoding board and the soft label. After you have mastered the decoding angle, you can reduce the number of passes.

3. The decoding speed is controlled at one product per second, not too fast, otherwise the label decoding may be incomplete.

4. When the soft label is decoded by the decoding board, the system alarm is caused by the detection antenna when the customer leaves, which means that the decoding is not successful. This may be because the cashier made a mistake in decoding; but if this situation occurs continuously, it is necessary to Report to the supervisor in a timely manner that the decoding equipment is faulty.

Hard labels are mostly used by clothing stores. The tool to remove the hard labels is a nail remover (unlocker). The specific operation requirements are as follows:

1. Hold the label on the product with the left hand, with the front facing up and the convex part aligned with the concave part in the center of the unlocker.

2. Let the protruding part of the label stick to the hole of the nail remover (unlocker), press the nail on the hard label lightly with the right hand, and then pull out the product together with it. The product can then be separated from the hard label. The nail is removed.

3. Remove the label from the staple remover and remove the label staple from the item.

4. Put the removed hard labels and nails separately and keep them properly for secondary use. Do not place them randomly, so as not to interfere with the equipment and cause false alarms.
